Volunteer in Banding

Whether you play or not, there are always opportunities to help through volunteering!

If you are interested in banding and want to help out locally, get in touch with your local band.  You will find a range of areas where help may be appreciated, from preparation of music, instruments and uniforms, through to publicity and assistance organising and running gigs and concerts.  A wide range of skills are required to keep a band running, and your skills will be very useful.

The QBA runs regional, state, and (every few years) national championships, as well as other workshops and our annual Youth Band Camp.  There are always jobs and tasks where help will be appreciated - please reach out if you are keen to help here.  We look forward to meeting you!
