2025 QBA Youth Band Development Camp

QBA Youth Band 2024 – 13^th – 17^th January 2025

Some exciting news!!  The highly acclaimed QBA Youth Band Development Camp will be taking place over the week of Monday 13^th January – Friday 17^th January 2025.  This amazing opportunity for young players aged 19 years and under to learn from some of the best musical directors and brass/percussion instrumentalist tutors in Australia shouldn't be missed.  The QBA are thrilled to announce that the Musical Directors for 2025 will be Bryan Hurley and Maureen Cameron!  Lifetime friendships and a love for banding is fostered during this week of intensive training, playing and performing, and we invite all young brass and percussion students (age 10yrs – 19yrs inclusive), to apply for this fantastic youth band camp opportunity.

Key Points:

1. Venue:  QCCC Brookfield, 179 Gold Creek Road, Brookfield QLD
2. Cost:  $690 QBA Registered Players / $790 Non-QBA Players (cost includes 4 nights/5 days of accommodation, meals, polo shirt, tutors, music and more)
1. Eligible applications from regional areas will receive a travel subsidy from our sponsors, Yamaha Australia and Brass Music Specialists. We will notify you regarding the subsidy after applications have been finalized.
3. Limited places available - $50 deposit must be paid with completed application forms to secure your place.
